Uploading Documents Manually
Already hold the data? Upload a ZIP and Fisar runs it through the same redaction pipeline as a connector-collected request.
Sometimes you already have the documents - exported from a system Fisar does not connect to, or gathered by hand. Upload documents puts them through exactly the same pipeline.

Your files must be in a ZIP archive. Put the documents in a folder, compress it, and upload the resulting .zip. Individual loose files are not accepted.
Step by step
Prepare a ZIP
Gather the documents into one folder and compress it.
Click New SAR
Choose Create a SAR, then Upload documents.
Enter the requester's details
Name and email address.
Confirm who the request is about
Answer whether the requester is also the individual. If not, add the individual's name and email.
Add keywords
Add the individual's name and any variants so their own information stays unredacted.
Complete verification
Confirm identity checks are done, and attach supporting documents if needed.
Set the relevancy check
Choose whether Fisar should assess which files are relevant, or simply redact everything you have uploaded.
Review and continue
Check the summary, then continue to the upload step.
Drag in the ZIP
Drop the archive into the upload area.
Set a password and create
Enter the archive password and click Create SAR. You can close the window - processing continues in the background.
The relevancy check
If you upload a large number of files, you can ask Fisar to assess which are actually relevant to the request - or skip that and redact everything.
If you have already filtered the documents yourself, choosing to redact everything is faster and avoids Fisar excluding something you meant to include.
What you get back
The delivered archive contains two groups:

Always open the Requires manual review folder. These are the items most likely to contain a mistake in either direction.
Keyword matching carries across variants. Enter "Joe Bloggs" and Fisar will also recognise "Joseph Michael Bloggs" as the same person - while still redacting other named individuals such as a lead trainer or medical assessor on the same certificate.
